While hiking directly up Doi Luang is not permitted to protect this UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the trek will lead you through untouched forests, reaching 1,650 meters for panoramic 360-degree views. Continue through a vibrant Lahu tribe plantation and dense rainforests before arriving at a breathtaking waterfall. With demanding terrain and remote beauty, we highly recommend this trek for those seeking a true adventure, embracing nature at its most wild and untouched.

Day 1: Embark on an unforgettable adventure through the breathtaking landscapes surrounding Doi Luang, Thailand's third tallest mountain. Our journey begins with an exciting trek through the jungle, leading us to a hidden waterfall where we take a moment to soak in the beauty of the surroundings. After a refreshing break, we continue along a narrow trail through the lush rainforests, immersed in the natural wonders of the region.
We’ll pause for a well-deserved lunch in the midst of the wilderness, surrounded by the tranquility of the forest. Afterward, we push on, tackling a steep ascent that requires determination and effort to conquer. The hard work pays off as we reach the top, where the awe-inspiring mountain views of Doi Luang unfold before us. Our destination for the day is a hidden village perched high in the mountains, where we’ll spend the night, enveloped in the serenity and beauty of nature.

Day 2: Wake up in the heart of the jungle with an uninterrupted view of Doi Luang Mountain. After a delightful breakfast, we embark on the day's adventure. Our journey begins with a trek through a pine forest, ascending towards the summit where a panoramic view of layered mountains awaits. This vantage point offers a significant perspective on the mountainous landscape. We'll have a lunch break before descending through the trek to reach another beautiful Lahu village, surrounded by a variety of plantations, ultimately leading to a hidden waterfall.

Day 1

  • 8.00-8.30am Hotel Pick up 
  • Drive 2 hours to the north 
  • Trek through the jungle 
  • Lunch break at waterfall
  • Continue trekking to homestay 
  • 4 pm. Arrive at homestay, chill and enjoy the stunning mountain view in front of you
  • Camp fire under stars 
  • Bed time

Day 2

  • 7.00-8.30am. Wake up and have breakfast 
  • Goodbye to the host and get on trek 
  • Trek through the lush green pine forest to the summit 
  • Enjoy the 360 degrees panoramic view layers of mountains
  • Lunch break in the forest 
  • Continue trekking through the forest 
  • Enjoy a variety of plantation view 
  • A nice break at Lahu village with a fresh cold drink
  • Continue trekking to a stunning waterfall
  • Trek back to where you will be picked up and drive back to the city
  • 18.30 back to hotel
